The 4th Grade Math and Gifted Students at Brooks Elementary participated in a Fall Problem Solving Program sponsored by Mississippi School for Math and Science (MSMS) "Math All Stars". The students worked on problem sets and solutions through live, engaging instruction with seniors from MSMS. They were able to interact with other students across Mississippi. The problems challenged them to use critical thinking and quantitative reasoning skills. Each Thursday for the next five weeks, students will participate in the program via Zoom.
