Northside High held a Drug Free Assembly in recognition of Red Ribbon Week. Red Ribbon Week is a national observance of an awareness campaign that gets information to the general public about the dangers of drug use. Red Ribbon Week is designed to get people talking to other people and working on activities that will help rebuild a sense of community and common purpose.
The guest speaker was Kierre Rimmer, the founder of FlyZone. Mr. Rimmer spoke briefly on the dangers of drug use. This event was sponsored by the counseling department. Special thanks to Mr. Rimmer for stopping by to speak with the students.
