NBCSD in partnership with Americorp Reads Mississippi members, Marissa Faust and Ryanrica Robinson, sponsored Halloween Reading Night at Brooks Elementary. Thanks to all who came out! The students dressed the part as they enjoyed games and treats. Special thanks to Sgt. Yolanda Foster of the Bolivar County Sheriff Department for volunteering to read. Also, a huge thanks to Author Braylen Rimmer for sharing an excerpt from his book, The Phoenix Son.
