On Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at 9 AM, the Northside High School counseling department is hosting a Girls' Empowerment Program, “Diamonds and Pearls” for girls in grades seventh through 12th in hopes of changing their narratives to develop a growth mindset. The counseling department has invited sororities sisters from each chapter to lend their expertise to empower 175 young girls to become successful beyond high school. Topics of interest include:

- Peer Pressure: Leave the Pressure to US – Zeta Phi Beta
- There’s a ‘Champion’ in You – Delta Sigma Theta
- The Importance of Personal Hygiene –Sigma Gamma Rho
- Education: Keys to Success – Alpha Lambda Beta
