NHS students donate socks to local daycare facilities

Northside High School FBLA, in conjunction with NHS PBIS, organized and conducted a community sock drive. The high school students, community organizations, and local citizens donated socks to the drive.

Over 500 pairs of socks were collected despite instances of school closure due to COVID during the drive. Ms. Wilson's 1st Period Class donated the most socks at NHS. They were rewarded with a Chips and Cheese party complements of NHS FBLA and PBIS. Sock donations were given to adult senior care facilities in Mound Bayou (Nevaeh Adult Daycare), Shelby (Shelby Rehab Center and Exclusive Life Event Center Adult Daycare), and Duncan (Oak Grove Nursing Home). Special thanks goes out to community supporters, Ms. Diane Taylor, Mrs. Verdean Parris, Mrs. Nicole Hooker, Mrs. Burns-Lewis, Mrs. Linda Humphrey, Mother Doris Bridgett, Mt. Layton M. B.
